This unit explores the rationale, methodologies and methods adopted for developing and applying geospatial information technologies and remote sensing techniques. Emphasis is placed on evaluating the role and quality of geodata sources in a variety of geographical contexts.

  • characterise the relationship between GIS and Geography research
